F R Barton & Son has been in business for over 40 years and offers a full range of expertise in the Arboricultural industry. We are based in Elsenham, Essex and have undertaken work in Wales, the Midlands, East Anglia, Kent and greater London. We offer a wide range of Arboricultural services from tree surgery works to full site clearance and forestry work as well as landscaping from turfing to fencing.

We run 7.5 ton lorries & Schisling chippers for our surgery work and have a Unimog with integrated chipper for sites with more difficult access. Our site clearance equipment includes a 16 ton 360 digger, Ahwi fully tracked mulcher, self loading timber & low loader trailers, a Forestry Forwarder for timber extraction and a Timberjack 1110 Forestry Forwarder with a mounted Bruks 18” chipper.

We carry £5 million Public Liability and £10 million Employer Liability insurance and provide full method statements and risk assessments when required.
